The overhaul approach we take will depend on the year model, as these DENSO made units for Lexus and Toyota experience entirely different types of failures according to the year range. The process is essentially always going to be a combination of repairs to the copper traces that make up the map of the board and replacement parts addressing whatever damage and/or conditions are present in the ECU. Most of the time, we see these particular ECUs for shifting problems, knock sensor issues, misfires, and no start/no communication, among many other problems.
