Repair & Return Service of your Toyota Avalon ECU

NOTE: You are not purchasing a Toyota ECU. You are purchasing a Repair & Return service for your Toyota ECU.

The process:

Send your ECU to us at the address provided with a note containing your contact information and order number so that we can correctly process your order. If your unit is in repairable condition, we will repair your ECU and ship it back out to you within 1-2 business days of arrival.

If for any reason your ECU is not repairable, we will refund your order and return it as-is. We charge a $35 checking fee if there is no repair.

***For ease of shipping, please do not include any detachable mounting tabs or brackets. All units must be shipped in their cases. Do not send us your keys.***

The overhaul approach we take will depend on the year model according to the vehicle; the process is essentially always going to be a combination of repairs to the copper traces that make up the map of the board and replacement parts addressing whatever damage and/or conditions are present in the ECU. Most post-2000s ECUs such as the Toyota Avalon will suffer from the usual decay of the metals in the aging SMDs that are used in these and need replaced. This causes issues such as shifting problems, knock sensor issues, misfires, and no start/no communication, among many other problems.

We replace the parts that are responsible for these symptoms, restoring full function of the ECU, and further replace some of the components that have not failed yet as a preventive measure to ensure that the ECU lives a long life.

An ECU sent in for repair will not need any programming upon installation, as none of the security or VIN coding related parts are changed.

Repair service includes 5 year warranty. Warranty is void if seals are broken.
